The plane touched down at 6:20 pm (Hawaii standard time). Since we traveled through 5 time zones, and they are not on daylight savings time, we need to add six hours to the trip. Therefore, we traveled for 14 hours and 50 minutes. Needless, to say we were pretty tired. We were up this morning at 4:30 am which is actually 10:30 (Stewartsville time). Last night, we left the sliding door open and fell asleep to the sound of the wind rustling the leaves on the palm trees. As I am writing, we are having our first look at the view from our room. I will leave you with this question. What other tropical plants will we probably see?
